The team behind Destination Sport Experiences have decades
of experience working in the global sports travel industry. We know the major
sports events inside out and understand what amateur athletes need to perform

How do I make an account?
You can open an account when making your first booking, or
if you want to get ahead of the game click Register at the top of the page.
How can I reset my password?
Click on the ‘forgotten my password’ link and follow the
instructions.
How does your payment plan work?
Our payment plan is an interest-free
payment method where you will have the opportunity to spread payment for your
booking with us in a number of instalments.
All payments must be completed
before travel. Partial payments will not be refunded or honoured for future
bookings. In case of a missing payment, the booking will be cancelled.

Payment 2 Interim Payments: Will be
due by X weeks as mentioned at time of booking, before your departure date
· Payment 3 Final Payment: Will be due by 12 weeks before
your departure date (unless mentioned otherwise at time of booking)
Will scheduled payments be taken automatically?
Yes, these will be taken. If there’s any problems, one of
our team will get in touch so keep an eye out around the payment date.
Can I cancel my booking?
Get in touch and we’ll be able to advise on your specific
booking. There’s no charge if you want to cancel within 24 hours of making a
booking. After this it’ll be different depending on what you’ve booked. Take a

Do I need to buy travel insurance?
Everyone should have travel insurance so that you can be
looked after if anything goes wrong. Travel insurance covers you if anything
doesn’t go to plan before you travel as well so take it out at the time of
booking. Make sure that you are insured for the activities that you will
undertake plus the equipment that you have with you.
Can we book from outside the UK/ overseas?
Absolutely. If there are any restrictions on regions or
nationalities that we are allowed to sell to, we’ll let you know on the event
web page.
Do I need a medical certificate for my event?
You need a medical certificate issued within a year of the
event date for events that take place in France and Italy. Check out our
medical certification page to see which events and to print out a sample

When will I receive my hospitality tickets?
We’ll let you know in the Important Information section of
the booking before taking payment. We’ll also advise in a ticket collection
email on/around 14 days before the event. The most common methods are
collection at the venue on the day of the event, e-ticket or by post up to a
week before.
My booking says ‘pending’ what does this mean?
‘Pending’ status usually means we are checking final details
of your booking or application. You will receive further updates via email once
these checks have been made.
Can I check-in for my flight online?
Sometimes. It depends on the airline etc. Sit back and
relax, put your feet up. We will look after this for you and outline this on
your final travel itinerary.
What is the child age?
Depending on the event this may vary. Please check our
website for further details.
When will I receive my final travel itinerary?
We know how much you are looking forward to the event. we’ll
do our best to have to your final travel itineraries to you 5-7 days before you
travel but if it’s going to take a bit longer, we’ll let you know.
I cannot walk very far, can I still attend a hospitality
experience?
All of our hospitality packages are different and the

If anyone on your booking needs any special assistance for
reduced mobility, disability or any other medical condition, please drop us a
line. We can give you more information about the accessibility of different
services and the assistance available from suppliers, or at venues.
Availability and access to certain services/seating may be limited by the
service provider so we’d like it if you’d you talk to us about what you need
before booking. If you book online please add information of any special
assistance you need in the ‘medical’ box.
If an event is sold out, will it go back on sale?
Probably not. We’ll have sold out of our allocation of
entries or tickets and may only have new availability if someone cancels or
we’re able to get more. We will put up a waitlist so please join that and you’ll
be the first to hear about updates
Do you provide flights?
We may provide flights on long haul destinations (from
the UK). For short haul, there is a great offering of low-cost airlines. To
allow our customers all the flexibility, our tours start from the overseas
airport closest to the event.
What time can I check-in at my hotel?
Check-in is usually from 3pm, but this can be different
depending on the hotel you’ve chosen. If you arrive at your hotel before check
in opens, you might not be able to check in straight away, but you’ll be able
to store you bags so you can get your weekend started!
I’ve not received my booking confirmation email, where
is it?
First thing’s first, check your spam! You can also add our
email address to your address book and you will never miss an email again.

Do I need
to qualify to enter an event?
Usually no
although sometimes events such as Ultra Marathons do require you to complete a
qualifying race and time. If there are any qualification requirements, we’ll
let you know on the event web page.
Can I buy
event entry only?
Usually, no
but we do offer just the event entry on some events. We are restricted by the
race organisers rules and sell event as part of a travel package. With us you
receive the travel experience with the knowledge of guaranteed entry. If we are
able to offer you event entry only, we will let you know on the event web page.
Can I bring
family and friends?
Absolutely!
Keep an eye out for discounts for non-participating friends and family. We
welcome family and friends. There is always plenty to see and do on our trips
and our local and Destination Sport team are there to advise all. So, whether
you want to participate in the event, support and spectate or simply have a
holiday you can book your Destination Sport Experience with us.
I am
travelling alone, will I feel alone?
With us you will not feel alone, and you are most welcome to join any of our trips. Most travel packages have optional sightseeing tours, guided transfers to the event, event debriefings, get togethers etc and our local and Destination Sport team are there for you.
