Friday 11th August – Arrival day & Indoor Cycling World Championships.
Please make your own arrangements to arrive in Glasgow city centre and check into the hotel.
Make your way from the hotel in the city centre to the event venue at the Emirates Arena. The Emirates Arena is in the east end of Glasgow, opposite Celtic Park. It is easy to access - with regular trains to Dalmarnock or Bridgeton, local taxis or walking and cycling from the city centre.
Today in the Arena, prepared to be amazed with the first round of Cycle-Ball matches in Group A & B. Teams of two will take to the pitch on fixed gear bikes, using their bikes to move the ball as they aim to progress out of the group stages. It’s an exciting day for the Artistic Cycling with qualifying for the Single Women and the Pair Open qualifying and finals, so there will be guaranteed medals on offer.
You will have the evening free to eat out in one of Glasgow’s many restaurants or soak up the atmosphere of the city in a lively bar.

Saturday 12th August – Indoor Cycling World Championships and/or Departure Day
This morning after breakfast you have the option to check out from the hotel and depart or make your way from the hotel in the city centre back to the event venue at the Emirates Arena.
Today in the Arena, prepared to be amazed with the second round of Cycle-Ball matches in Group A & B. Teams of two will take to the pitch on fixed gear bikes, using their bikes to move the ball as they aim to progress out of the group stages. It’s an exciting day for Artistic Cycling with qualifying for the Single Men and the finals of the Single Women competition alongside the ACT4 Finals – teams of 4 riders performing perfectly synchronised acrobatics.
You will have the evening free to eat out in one of Glasgow’s many restaurants or soak up the atmosphere of the city in a lively bar.
Sunday 13th August – Indoor Cycling World Championships and/or Departure Day
This morning after breakfast you have the option to check out from the hotel and depart or make your way from the hotel in the city centre back to the event venue at the Emirates Arena.
Today in the Arena, the Indoor Cycling World Championships reach their conclusion with the final Cycle-Ball group matches before their medal matches. In the Artistic Cycling, it’s the turn of the Single Men and Pair Women – both of whom have qualifying and then finals to show off their hair-raising acrobatic skills.
Monday 14th August – Departure day
After breakfast, please check out of the hotel and make your own arrangements for onward travel.
