Saturday: Travel to Alicante
Please make your own arrangements to meet us in Calpe or meet us at Alicante Airport. We will run one transfer from the airport today at 11.30. Please allow an hour from your flight landing time to your transfer time, to allow you to get through passport control and collect your luggage.
Private transfers

What about my bike?
You can bring your bike as we have planned to transport bike boxes on our airport transfers. Alternatively, you can rent a bike with us for the weekend. Our mechanic will be available this afternoon at the hotel to assist you with fitting your rental bike or building your own bike after travel. Bikes can be safely stored at the hotel.
Our Hotel
We are staying at Hotel Bahia in Calpe. The hotel is booked on a Half Board basis, with breakfasts and evening meals included. The hotel will provide a coffee break every afternoon when you arrive back offering juice, fruits and light snacks.
Late afternoon and early evening, our tour leaders and bike mechanics are available for you. We will have an evening meal together at the hotel.
Sunday
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before today's ride. Today the route will take you around the scenic coastal road before heading out to the valley of the famous Coll de Rates (this will be on tomorrow's route).
Choose from 3 levels of riding every day. From a leisurely coffee ride group to hard riding, we have you covered. You can even mix and match as there is no need to stick with the same group every day.
On arrival back to the hotel, you can enjoy our after-ride coffee break. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are available at the hotel. This will be available every day.
This afternoon you are free to enjoy the hotel’s facilities and we will have the evening meal together at the hotel.
Monday
After breakfast, we will take the scenic coastal road through Moraira onto Xabia. The route will then take you up the short side of the famous climb, Coll de Rates. Pro riders do hill reps on this side of the climb!!
Tuesday
All riders will take the same route out of Calpe heading to Albir via the tunnels. Groups 3 and 4 will then head to tackle the long side of the Coll de Rates after lunch you will then descend back into Calpe. Groups 1 & 2 will use the back lane to Finestraat you will then take on the challenge of the week the Col D’ Tudons. After a climb up Port de Confrides, your legs will get to rest down the fast descent into Guadalest. Group 2 will head back via Callosa and the tunnels and Group 1 will tackle the long side of Col D'Rates and head back to Calpe via Xaro.
Wednesday
Roll out after breakfast for a steady ride with a gentle climb towards Benissa. After a coffee stop, you will head back via the coastal road for some well-earned rest!
The hotel has spa facilities on site so you could use today to make use of them if you haven't done so already!
You can also take some time to explore Calpe. We will have the evening meal together at the hotel.
Thursday
Groups 1 and 2 will follow a route out via the tunnel road to Callosa and take on the climb of Port de Confrides 970m. Once completed you will turn right and enjoy a quick descent. The route will then head over to Pego via Vall de Ebo, Orba and back via Xaro to Calpe.
Groups 3 & 4 will leave Calpe on the coastal road to Moraira and go over the climb from Xabia to Denia after a cafe stop the group will then climb from Gata de Gorgos through the stunning valley of almond Tree blossom. We will then ride back to Xaro for 2nd café stop.
Friday
Groups 1 and 2 will follow a route with a small loop before climbing Col de Rates, if you're still feeling fresh you can go to the new extra summit.
Groups 3 and 4 will go out via the coastal road, Moraira, towards Xabia then take a climb through the almond blossom valley then return via Benissa
This evening we will have our final evening meal together.
Saturday
After breakfast, it's time to head home and recover!
